At 45 years old, I weighed over 240 lbs., but in my mind I was healthy
because I was exercising 4 or 5 days a week and had even joined a gym.
However, instead of losing weight, I gained 5 lbs. As the owner of a
local construction company, I found that I was stressed for time, eating
unhealthy fast food to get by whenever I was hungry. I felt stuck, until
one day my friend Dan gave me a call and introduced me to Take Shape For
Life.
My wife and I both started on the 5 & 1 Plan and we couldn't believe the
results that we saw within the first week. Eventually, I went from a
size 40 to a size 34, and I am now at my goal weight of 180 lbs! I'm 47
now, and I weigh the same as I did when I graduated from high school!
The fact that our sizes went down is great but the most important thing
is the way we feel inside. We're healthy now!
